Morning Routine
My day usually starts early in the morning, as I believe in the importance of starting the day off right. After a refreshing workout or yoga session, I begin by planning the day's meals. This involves researching new recipes, sourcing fresh and organic ingredients, and creating a balanced menu that meets my clients' dietary requirements and preferences.
Meal Preparation
Once the menu is finalized, I head to the local farmers market or specialty stores to handpick the finest ingredients. Quality and freshness are key in my line of work, as I strive to provide my clients with the best possible meals. Back in the kitchen, I start prepping the ingredients, chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces and dressings from scratch.
Cooking and Presentation
As a private chef, I have the privilege of working in well-equipped kitchens, allowing me to unleash my creativity and culinary skills. I carefully cook each dish, paying attention to flavors, textures, and presentation. I belong to the USPCA and the IACP where I further educate myself to the upcoming dietary trends and food recipes which assist me in my menu preparations for you the client.
By the end of 2023 and start of 2024, I will have received A Master Certificate in Nutrition from the prestigious AFPA allowing me to further my credentials towards being able to coach my clients and their families towards nutritional health.
Relaxation and Self-Care
While my days are filled with cooking and taking care of others, I also prioritize self-care and relaxation. I believe that a healthy and balanced lifestyle starts with taking care of oneself. Whether it's enjoying a leisurely walk, practicing meditation, or working on my ever increasing desire to grow a fresh herb garden, I make sure to carve out time for self-care to recharge and rejuvenate.
